I’ve said this before in this space but I think that it bears repeating. It’s just a note to help pass down some baseball lore to the youngsters out there:
Blue Jays pitcher Kevin Gausman threw the baseball for nine full innings (109 times) to achieve what is known as a “complete game”. You youngsters might see the abbreviation “CG” and wonder what that means… well, there you go!
