I turn it off.
It makes little difference to power consumption and distorts the image balance.
Surely BBC R&D can tell you that. They had smart people when I worked in the BBC.
Also I use a 6W sat box, FM TX (sold for phone/mp3 to car radio) and FM Radio for non-local stations. Lower power than many DAB (turned off May 2021 in Ireland).
No-one I know uses TV to listen to Radio, though a £10 USB DVB-T stick can work on laptop or Android.
The best way to improve energy use in the longer term - is for the #BBC to join those on the right side of history.
Stop supporting fossil fuel industries, politicians or the public, by proxy (e.g., stop reporting their non-science rhetoric without critical evaluation)
Either that or just turn the BBC, ITV, etc, off & read a science publication.
Doing research and realizing that unfortunately #SiYuan messes one thing up - backlinks and mentions render the inline content that contains the link.
The way SiYuan models pages, lists of any kind are structural objects that attach inline content.
That means while you can write outliner-style lists in SiYuan, the context of that list, especially child bullets, doesn‘t automatically come along like it happens in #logseq - or #capacities.

On 24 July we have issued our first volume. It includes a nice editorial piece outlining the journal's life story and our future plans and hopes (for Tektonika #DOAJ and #openscience).

after having the "kind of to do" item in my head for quite a while, I finally put some blocker events in my calendar. they're for the course I'm going to be co-teaching next semester:
the course timeslots themselves, amd 2 more slots for looking at assignments for that course.
next: think about a timeslot for (remote and in-person) office hours so students can approach me with their questions. #pascodaGoDrrr
I have several great ideas for thesis topics and I hope the titles/synopses are okay for my professor because I would LOVE to supervise bachelor's/master's students on these topics - and then have them publish something on a serious topic with a salty, fun title 😁 #pascodaGoDrrr
