You are missing the fact that this conflict isn’t from last month, it was brewing for quite some time. And blaming only one of the sides for the current situation isn’t also very accurate. Both sides are complicit, but what Israel is doing right now in Gaza is inexcusable, they are inflicting mass punishment for more than 2M civilians and causing a humanitarian catastrophe. One would expect a bit more from a country claiming to be lawful and democratic.
