I mean, the C-130 is designed to operate in combat zones, and from short/improvised airstrips, and more easily facilitates the movement of soldiers. Those could be features the polish government thinks are advisable in the current situation. Plus, it could just be a speed thing. It’s a lot easier to get a military aircraft dispatched on extremely short notice than it is to charter plane(s).
