I feel I can admit this through the veil of internet anonymity - I loved my time in Afghanistan. I was working for a few different governments at the time. I wish I had the power to reverse some of the damage I caused. Whatever I’ve done to counter that is negligible, at best.

When I was hashing there, the old crew had stories, man! I just don’t know how to get us all back to that example of unity.
