buildings allowed to stand and continue to be built that can't survive a 6 on the richter scale is one of the telltale signs of a failed state, it's ok, they won't learn anything from this, and won't institute any building code enforcement after this, and we'll all cry for them again the next time, as if they're not capable of responsible government and protection of their citizenry, because they're arabs, who i guess are simply just not capable of responsible safe advanced civil engineering.
