He is not far right. He literally praises communism and his laws very much resemble what we had here 40-50 years ago - 13th pensions, high taxes on banks, higher taxes in general, attempts to make “everyone equal” in terms of financial status, various bonuses, etc.
He is pro-Kremlin but he definitely belongs to left-wing conservatism.
Edit: And yes, it won’t be the last attack on a minority because the current government literally praises everything national, Christian and discriminates everything different. Not only “LGBT filth” as they say.
