Under international law, it is a war crime to kill civilians, even under the pretext of a human shield. Israel also uses Palestinians as human shields.
Genocide means any of the following acts committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group, as such:
Killing members of the group:
Over 20,000 in only three months, not counting deaths from diseases caused by the war, lack of food, and water.
Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group:
Bodily harm by the amount of injured people, mentally by the terror caused by bombing people’s houses.
Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part:
Cutting water from civilians and Daniel Hagari saying that they aim for destruction and not accuracy
Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group.
Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
The proposal to transfer the Gaza Strip’s 2.3 million people to Egypt’s
