For years they all claimed “oh, we have to snoop unto you because we get to learn what you like and don’t like, and then we can show you ads for things you might value.”
Has anyone, anywhere, found a way to make ads more attractive to the individual viewer? NOPE. If they had, they’d have been demonstrating it - bragging about it. Was I ever more likely to buy something because of an ad on TV? Did I ever wonder where the yellow went? Never. I comparison-shopped to get the best value for the dollar. If we all do that, then may the truly best product win.
