I find that Devon speaks a bit too fast for my taste, but he’s always given great breakdowns of stuff I wouldn’t otherwise understand. Love that guy.

I don’t think the illegal lottery stuff is a big deal. As Devon and others like Captain Sparklez have pointed out, it’s easy to do without thinking even with good intentions. Especially for new creators that aren’t really large enough to need a legal team, trying to give away things to supporters.

On the surface, throwing in added stuff to buyers in X minutes doesn’t seem to be a bad thing at all, just giving something to your supporters. Those giveaways were a long time ago, well before Mr Beast was the size he is today with a legal team to advise about that sort of thing.

Some of the other stuff… Different story. But the illegal lottery stuff while technically illegal, is also easy to do accidentally with no bad intentions.
