That honestly nails it. I’ll always watch an A24 movie because I know there is some artistry involved, and it’s going to be something that I haven’t seen before. Sure, it may not be the best thing I’ve ever seen, but I’ve never seen one that didn’t make me think about something, no matter how trivial. I read a few months ago that they are going to start producing more blockbuster style movies, and that disappoints me a little, but I’m willing to give them a chance, because they have earned my trust over the last 10 years to be a bastion of, if nothing else, creative filmmaking.

In this fart-saturated room of action hero movies, yellow balls of explosion and stupid remakes no one wanted, movies A24 publishes are a breath of fresh air. Like you said, I might not get excited about all of them or might not even like most of them, but at least it’s not a directors vision crippled by political correctness, inclusiveness and forced political ideas so it appeals to as many people on the planet as possible in desire of earning another dollar. It’s entertainment at its core and pure unadulterated directors vision.
