There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.

Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

As far as I know, most journals don’t have a fediverse presence, but do have RSS article feeds. Would accounts that mirror those feeds be something folks would follow or is RSS/email already filling the need?

Also, I understand there is a account that follows a very large set of folks in the community and re-posts popular/trending material. (If you know what it is - I’d appreciate a pointer). Looking at that account might be a good way to catch up. Would that be interesting for social science?
