I'm trying to think of a title for my new book club. The two titles I've been juggling around so far are:
All Booked Up:
I love this title because of the double meaning on our passion and how much time we dedicate to it. I also just love the phrase.
The Cagey Pagers:
First, I think this is just a cuel, fun freaking title. Obviously if you want to take things literally, this just sounds like we're a bunch of cautious beepers that are afraid of going off, but what I really think it embodies is a person who plows through pages, sharing what they feel is most important about their reading experience with each book, not throwing it all over social media sites to be skimmed over by the masses. Both titles are great, but I'm still trying to decide which one to choose. Thoughts?
Also, I'll be posting my tentative book themes for each month of 2024 shortly, so if you are interested in joining, let me know. There won't be a chat group for people to unintentionally overload with a bunch of messages, but there may be a telegram channel that will announce upcoming book club meetings or updates to the genre/theme selection.
@gocu54 I know, I love that title, but some may think the word choice sounds unwelcoming. Cagey doesn't typically have a conotation that implies community. :_
@desertstar84 hmm. Yeah, that makes sense. The first one sounds more welcoming and has the word book in it which makes it easier to advertise if that's what you want to do also, can I join? I'd love to read new books, but haven't really had the motivation to do it. At least having friends who are into books helps. I love reading normally, but its been a few weeks.
