ERBeckman , Today's #TeachWorldHistory image was from Giovanni Sercambi’s chronicle of his hometown of Lucca. This image reflects an experience of the Second Plague Pandemic. It provided an entry into discussing limits of sources, as opposed to their biases. Sercambi's illustration tells us how people thought of plague, but not how plague spread.
