@bryanalexandee I've had an abiding interest in disciplinarity and interdisciplinarity since a Stanford professor could not answer how his field (CALL - Computer-Assisted Language Learning) was a discipline. Disciplinarity is also a weak point of Indian academia, as you notice, e.g., with journals combining disparate fields.
