There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.
Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.
Waiting4Thunder , 9 months ago @Gust3r @RickiTarr to echo what's been said and add an extra note following more ppl and following fave hashtags helped me w/ this, but also a new feature of the latest mastodon release is meant to help with that It has search for words & phrases instead of just hashtags Ppl can opt in to being searchable in their own settings, so if they don't want to be searchable they can keep that turned off Idk if your instance has updated or has plans to, but if/when they do, you'll have it available
