A couple of the articles about this mentioned that UFL's viewing figures were believed to be harmed by this deal as well.
So not only did fewer people want to join the army after seeing UFL and the rock promote it, but fewer people wanted to watch UFL after seeing it was associated with the army. Talk about a toxic brand.
