There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.
Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

The other posters won’t make that change for you; but you can block the garbage posters when they appear in your feed and it does help some. I’ve managed to winnow down the shitposters of !memes and I only see new and decent posters of (reasonably good) memes that actually make me chuckle. Also be the change. Downvote (or block if you can’t) anyone posting shitty memes.
