You know you can’t use your fear of death to justify atrocities, right? Isn’t that what you believe, that some things are wrong regardless of the outcome? Isn’t that you tell rape victims when they demand justice or revenge when your system refuses to do anything about their attackers, or domestic violence victims when you imprison them for killing their abusers? You know, the same crimes you enabled and sent soaring through the roof because of your actions?
You think those dead victims benefitted from the lockdowns? You think their lives were a suitable sacrifice for yours? You think the right wing is going to take you seriously when you talk about life or death or justice, knowing what you did? You think they aren’t emboldened enough now after protesting you to kill millions of us? You think you didn’t just cause more to die in more obscene and brutal ways because you chose selfishness over righteousness? You think you have the right to subvert everything and everyone just to save yourself?
You really think that’s how morality works? Because let me tell you, it doesn’t.
