Not this time. More that they're claiming the opposite of reality - that Hong Kong was influenced by the mainland CCP to improve its LGBT rights situation (namely, a court ruling which demands the legislature craft rules for civil same-sex unions).

In reality, where tankies generally do not dwell, the CCP runs a country-wide version of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", and it's unlikely that the mainland had any hand in this ruling.
