Skull and bones got described as a “quadruple A” game. Why stop at 4 A’s though?

An MIT biotech researcher has been able to run the iconic computer game Doom using actual gut bacteria. Lauren Ramlan didn’t get the game going on a digital simulation of bacteria, but turned actual bacteria into pixels to display the 30-year-old FPS, as reported by Rock Paper Shotgun....

Now that the hype’s died down for the game, what’s everyone’s opinions about the game? Personally, I’m having more fun with it than I have with most other FPS games.

Lately I was trying to record some gameplay from my laptop using MSI afterburner. The game was old and was easily hitting 100+ FPS, so I recorded with x264vfw with fast settings at 90FPS....

Is their trust broken forever or is there any chance for redemption?

So I decided to jump into some call of duty whatever the most current one is now that it’s free on game pass....

The Heroes of Might and Magic III, 25 years old and still awesome. I honestly think it’s the most replayable game ever (at least for me). Plenty of maps out of the box. Most of them can be played with a different town each time. If you’re done with that, you can change the difficulty. If you’re done with that, you can...

I’m looking up for communities or scenes whose purpose is making games that you play from bootup. Not necessarily boot sector games (stuff that has to fit in 512 bytes), but things that would behave much like cartridges in old consoles, where the hardware boots straight into the game....
