nick , 10 months ago I feel this all too well. Lost my 18 year old kitty to kidney disease and all kinds of other comorbid stuff in june. It hurts for a long tine, but slowly dims after a while. Now I miss her but I know she’s not suffering with anything now. She can rest comfortably. Hang in there friend. Treasure the joy you two had.
