Sharpiemarker , 11 months ago I’m no scientist but I’m going to say no. If oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, etc can pass through the fabric, so can carbon monoxide. The masks are used for screening particulates out that contain pathogens like viruses/bacteria. Those are much larger than gasses. Please correct me if I’m wrong about any of that.
