I might be insane, but I want my screen to almost completely remove blue pixels altogether, on a schedule. Twlight comes closest to this, but it’s closed source as far as I can tell, and requires a ton of invasive permissions.
I suspect some companys will absolutely use this as Marketing stunt " Look how customer friendly we are" cant wait for the Iphone advertisements that make it look like they invented it for the first time ( they advertised in germany still like 3 months ago that you can delete sent messages )...
Hello! I recently just released a Lemmy reader app for open beta. I’ve been working on the app since the black out about a week ago....
I remember a while back Google unveiled a better photo picker that won’t make us go through the file structure to pick images....
This occurred today when trying to cast from YouTube to my Chromecast w/ Google TV (CCwGTV). The CCwGTV doesn’t have any updates available and neither do the YouTube apps on the phone or the CCwGTV....
Is there any way to disable cast volume control on Android 13? Or at least prioritize the device volume when casting?...
I like the feeling of holding and using a phone in one hand. I am using a Pixel 5 right now, but it feels a bit too large for me. I know nobody makes phone that small like the iPhone 4S or the Samsung S3 mini anymore, but is there at least a phone smaller than the Pixel 5? Maybe around the size of a iPhone 12/13 mini?...
Hi, I’m legally blind, have okay eyesight, but not great. I prefer a larger screen just to make my life a bit easier. I’ve been on the fence for a bit about upgrading to the Pixel 7Pro as the screen is decently larger. I understand it’s also just a better phone over all, but that’s my #1 consideration. Do you have any...
I’m having a lot of problems with my charging. Sometimes I connect the charging cable, the “charging” light turns on, but the device doesn’t charge (or charges extremely slowly, such as 1-2% overnight). Just disconnecting the cable and reconnecting fixes the issue. I think the charge socket is getting loose....
Hey folks, my wife and I use Pixel phones, but we’re starting to think about a phone for our kid, really just to be able to call 911, probably wouldn’t even get data. We’re looking for cheap and boring, the fewer features, the better. Also open to smart watches, tho we have no experience with them....
Hi all. I bought a new (for me) Subaru yesterday and I’m already sick of plugging my phone in (yet my last car couldn’t even connect a phone)....
I had a tile with which I could open a TV remote on my phone and control local nerwork Android TV....
Alot of my friends use Snapchat for messaging but it’s really annoying needing to laggily enable the camera every time the app opens. Anyone know a way to make it think it has the camera on but not actually or something? (if you just revoke the camera permission it stops you from using the app entirely)
I’m annoyed by Play Protect and finally want to turn it off. Comes every time with absurd, complicated to circumvent warnings about privacy-friendly services like Exodus, F-Droid, etc. from which no threats emanate, but on the contrary protect against threats that Google delivers....
Like why have the toggle in the first place if apps can detect it? Doesn’t letting apps know about it defeat the whole purpose?
I have one of the Moto Edges, can't say I have many complaints outside of the slow charging and a dead pixel that developed a year in....
I got the Galaxy tab s6 lite and wondering if there is anything I’m not aware of I should do/get for it
Yo I have a verizon US edition galaxy s22 does anyone know how to root it since I believe the bootloader is encrypted
So far Jerboa seems like the move, Thunder looks nicer, but it doesn’t seem to play nice with this instance so that’s kind of dead in the water, at least for now.
