Alot of my friends use Snapchat for messaging but it’s really annoying needing to laggily enable the camera every time the app opens. Anyone know a way to make it think it has the camera on but not actually or something? (if you just revoke the camera permission it stops you from using the app entirely)
Hey folks, my wife and I use Pixel phones, but we’re starting to think about a phone for our kid, really just to be able to call 911, probably wouldn’t even get data. We’re looking for cheap and boring, the fewer features, the better. Also open to smart watches, tho we have no experience with them....
So far Jerboa seems like the move, Thunder looks nicer, but it doesn’t seem to play nice with this instance so that’s kind of dead in the water, at least for now.
What are everyone’s recommendations on making android more private? Given Google’s recent behavior around tracking and the like, I’m not really comfortable with then having all of my data. I’ve even contemplated going to iOS, since apple doesn’t have a vested interest in me having less privacy… But I just don’t...
