OnePlus 9 or Pixel 6?

Hello all,

I’m trying to decide between a refurbished OnePlus 9 or refurb Pixel 6. I’ve done some research and these phones seem to be around the same price in the used market.

It seems like the OnePlus 9 looks better the spec sheet when it comes to refresh rate and processor, but I’m very interested in the exclusive features and camera that Pixel phones have.

Which one would you recommend?

So is it worth it solely for GrapheneOS, or is the phone just simply better overall than the OnePlus 9?

I use to put custom roms on my phone a long time ago when I had a HTC and LG phone but that was a couple a years ago, so I’ll have to get myself back up to speed again.

Better doesn’t really mean much in this context. What do you need this phone for? Will you use it for work? Gaming? do you need a very good camera? Is battery life important for you? Do you value repairability?

Both phones are good, and as you said, they’re around the same price range, which usually means the quality is similar.

The pixel 6 is a good device, and graphene only makes it more worth, being one of the best custom roms out there for privacy.

There is no reason in particular I would choose the oneplus over the pixel or any other phone around the same price range.

I suggest you buy a refurbished one, their condition is usually very good and you save quite a bit of money.
