In terms of performance, yes.

However, most Android phones do not handle being plugged in for long periods of time correctly. They absolutely ruin their own batteries in a few months.

What concerns me from your setup is getting the router to recognize the USB internet connection. You’ll probably need some specific dance with adaptors and luck under a full moon.

I have been using my S22 Ultra as a Modem for quite some time now, works like a charm. Although I’m directly using the persobal hotspot. Attaching it to a router via USB would probably require just the right setup

Interested to see what others think, because I want to do the same. Even a new one is about half the price of a 5G capable router
