In addition to the elderly, students have higher-than-average suicide rates, at least partly because they feel high levels of pressure to succeed academically. When they do not achieve their goals, they may feel that they have dishonored their families.

I agree. If my family was wealthy and the costs were negligible to them then maybe not but I don't want to see to see them financially ruined or even struggling harder. I don't want xmass to not have presents because granpa has to keep breathing with no real quality of life.
