You can't just blame everything on disinformation, big companies, politicians and billionaires - especially now that everyone should know better anyway. And no, there's no "gentle policy" way out of this at this point.
And then point the blame elsewhere. Like how Americans love to point out that China is the #1 carbon polluting nation to detract from the fact that we’re #2, even though China’s emissions are largely due to our commercial and industrial needs.
