I'd be more likely to buy it in the hopes they do something like Skyrim Anniversary edition and give owners the game free/discounted.
Admittedly because it's older that's less likely (especially free), but they could do it to keep good faith so those people evangelize the game on other platforms and to new audiences. I was surprised they did it for Skyrim, which was also pretty old.
Been meaning to transition to a distro with a focus on being pretty low maintainance yet not too top heavy, leaving Windows to a VM on my Proxmox server. Haven’t gotten around to it yet, since I’d need to get the server a dedicated graphics card.
Could just use WINE, I suppose, but I’m assuming it’s still as rough as it was last time I messed with it twelve years ago.

This is out of date, of course. Now the left wing of the Property Party is completely unable and uninterested in wielding power, while the right wing of the Property has descended in to Christian Fascism. But it conveys the essential reality of the situation.
