I was having a discussion about this with a friend recently....
This article is an x-post from m/quickstart...
I'm playing Armored Core 6 and thinking how I want a 100 button Steel Battalion controller with all 3 of my monitors to have different huds....
Hey there, I am curious what everyone is reading and how you are feeling with it. I started demon copperhead yesterday, made it about 70 pages in and decided to read the first book in the chthulu CaseBooks. It's a kinda retelling of Sherlock Holmes but with a Lovecraft quist....
Man, in 2023, it's really hard to get heard through all of the macho "git gud" guff but as a fan of Armored Core since its inception: this game is not what I was expecting. I am disappointed....
I know we've had cases like older GTA or NFS titles removing songs from the game in updates because the licenses ran out. I wonder if the same thing is going to happen to Hi-Fi RUSH eventually?...

I got an invite code and so spent a bit of time browsing around because I'd heard good things about it. But I was surprised at how basic and non-diverse it all is. The forums are preset and are very generic. The conversations are definitely better than Reddit, but no better or worse than the ones I've had with people on Fedi....

I’ve been playing the wipeOut rewrite in my browser....

I'm assuming most of us here want a large community. The reality is most people aren't into technology nearly as much as many of the people actually on the Fediverse. For other people who are into tech (like myself and a lot of people here), the federation technology itself being promoted as a core component of the appeal makes...
Found the little feller once someone pointed out he was there.
I got my first Oneplus phone earlier this year and the fast charging is such a nice convenience. I thought it'd just be a gimmick I wouldn't care about, but its something I take advantage of basically everyday....
Wife is missing her r/JNMIL stories, and wants to know if there's a such lemmy or kbin magazine for them off of Reddit. Anyone know of any?
This is where breaking news, the latest numbers, information, and questions about the #RedditMigration will be posted. There will also be a place to discuss tactics to best help users make that jump and feel at home in the Fediverse. Welcome!
Red Hat stops all upstream and downstream work on desktop Bluetooth, multimedia applications (namely totem, rhythmbox and sound-juicer) and libfprint/fprintd (hadess.net)

Recently I've dove a little deeper into the Fediverse. I began with Mastodon like many others and I'm ready to move on. Mastodon as a software in comparison to similar services in the Fediverse like Calckey/Firefish, Friendica, Misskey, etc. just isn't as good and the only thing it has going for it is an established user base...
For new readers of the magazine, shell4kbin is an Android app that creates a dedicated browser for the kbin.social site....
I'll be honest, I've always tinkered with ubuntu and even older versions of linux (Anyone remember Mandrake? Yeah I'm old lol), I had even built my own HTPC at one point many many years ago....
Hey all, hoping that someone else might be able to shed some light on this particularly strange issue I've been experiencing. When playing CS, I typically get between 500-600 FPS and have a super smooth experience....
This is not an attempt to convert Lemmy users, nor is it a slight on Lemmy. I'm sure there are plenty of reasons why Lemmy works better for some, and I love the fact that we not only have multiple choices, but multiple choices that allow us to interact with each other regardless! It's amazing. Lemmy is great, no shade....
