For a couple more years, until they kill off keep, LMAO.

Nolvamia , to technology in Google is moving Shopping List and other notes back into Google Keep

Maybe somewhere in all this stuffing about with Keep they can add the ability to sort lists.

Greggo , to technology in Google is moving Shopping List and other notes back into Google Keep

Wtf, in Canada we don’t have the google express or whatever they switched to (I think). Instead lists and notes were stored within assistant using a terrible interface. So I switched to anylist and was quite happy with them. They’ve since killed integration with anylist to keep(again?). I’m sticking with anylist and have just decided to stop using assistant. There’s a nice widget I can throw on my home screen. Google seems intent on killing itself slowly and incompetently.

So the ancient punishment with being sent to the salt mines: were salt mines that common or was it from this area?

Track_Shovel OP ,

I don’t know the area; I’m NA based, but salt deposits near the surface are pretty rare. Our deepest mines are salt mines.

BadEngineering ,

According to the article it wouldn't have been much of a punishment.

"Thousands of bodies have been excavated, almost all flaunting rich bronze ornaments, typically worn by only the wealthiest," Reschreiter said. "The remains bore the marks of hard physical labour from childhood, while also showing signs of unequalled prosperity."

Edit: spelling

MonkderZweite ,

That was a necropolis in the same place, because salt preseves. Nothingto do with the salt mining work.

Isn’t that just how sponsorships work? Most every major stadium is named after some company or another, because they paid for it.

SoleInvictus ,

I hate it. Stadiums and fields used to be named after notable figures or just the facility owner. For example, take Boise State University. Their indoor arena used to be the BSU Pavilion. BSU graduates walked the line there. Respectable enough.

Then the naming rights were sold to Taco Bell in 2004. Graduates then walked the line at the Taco Bell arena. Graduation invitations had Taco Bell arena as the location. They graduated at a big Taco Bell. That’s some Demolition Man bullshit right there.

That’s just sponsorship…

Personally I’d rather supermarkets charged more reasonable prices for groceries.

The Stadium Naming Curse tells me the supermarket is being mismanaged if they think this is a good investment.

Do they and you not know how stadiums work?
