Hello, today we are going to talk about some flying robot behavior improvements. Some of the problems we fixed were reported countless times, so I hope that some people will appreciate it :).
The guy who made the space exploration mod is the same one that worked on this expansion. Thought I would put that here, judging by the comments on steam lol.
And the quality of life improvements just keep on coming....
Looks like the Factorio devs are hard in on getting as many improvements into the game as they can in time for the DLC release.
More rail options sounds like it’s going to improve the game tremendously as well, definitely looking like there’ll be quite the QoL update alongside the upcoming DLC.

Just continuing with all those quality of life improvements, absolutely loving what I’m seeing.
Lots of more interesting work with the circuit network, really liking the look of the new decider in particular - and the actual numbers on signals is going to make a lot of things much nicer to work with.
Every Item, Entity, and Equipment has 5 possible qualities now, and each quality tier gives an improved bonus value, used for most of the stuff...
Some more interesting takes on optimization actually, the upcoming expansion / patch continues to look really interesting.

We plan to release Factorio: Space Age expansion on October 21st 2024. The reasoning for this date is that it will give us enough time after summer vacations to polish the release, while also leaving enough time afterwards if we need to do bugfix patches before the Christmas holidays....
