The Herculaneum papyrus scrolls were carbonized by the heat from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the year 79, and discovered in 1752. Scientists have been attempting to decipher them ever since, with the first words being revealed last year. Now, a team at the University of Pisa has announced that the scrolls reveal Plato's burial place, and that the Greek philosopher did not enjoy the music played while he was on his deathbed.
