Tonight’s episode, “Metamorphosis”, in which our beloved protagonist and inventor (ne, ‘discoverer’) of the warp drive, makes a hard-braked pivot left from the bigotry of ‘…that inhuman monster’ to “oh the alien has boobs now”
I always thought the initial reaction was a bit strong, given the 150 yr history, and the reconciliation a bit too easy, post ‘joining’ of human and ‘alien’.
Still a great episode, if 60s awkward. #StarTrekTOS
