Rhube , 4 hours ago to bookstodon Finally got my downstairs bookcases sorted out: @bookstodon #books #shelfies A smaller bookcase with mostly paperbacks. The top shelf is Anne McCaffrey, the first three Dark Tower books, IT, and a bunch of Douglas Adams. The next shelf is a mixture of style manuals, classic SF&F, a couple of books I edited, some Allie Brosh, Ulysses, and a couple of aviation books by my dad and uncle. Below that are two shelves of more SF&F books, a lot of which are Diana Wynne Jones, A large black bookcase. The top shelf is hardback sF&F books. The next shelf is paperbacks, Robin Hobb, Megan Lindholm, Tamora Pierce, and Suzanne Collins. Then a shelf of large philosophy books, as well as a biography of Mao, The Norton Anthology of Poetry, and The Norton Anthology of Theory and criticism. Then more philosophy and classic literature. The next shelf down is also classic literature, followed by some books that fit the space. The bottom shelf is odd-sized books with a bunch of Stephen Kings stacked on their side in-between.
