This graphic novel is a pure marvel ! From the perfect adaptation of Richard Adams' classic by James Sturm to the incredible art by Joe Sutphin, it is a very beautiful book ! I absolutely love the illustrations and all the details showing the epic journey of a group of rabbits in a search of home. It is absolutely mind blowing !
A love story, a sad one. Am not a fan of the genre myself, but I could appreciate this one. Hurston wrote in the vernacular of her characters, while the backdrop tells of how Black Americans, especially women, struggled to make a living in the 1930s.
