You are have emphasized Hamas=Iran=terrorism when the key issue here is being against occupation and apartheid. You have yet to come close to being as explicit about a position against Israeli oppression, dispossession, occupation, and the fact that apartheid must end. With clear denunciation of all things Hamas and nothing about occupation, the listener is left thinking #FreePalestine

perhaps you think occupation is fine until Palestinians can meet some criteria you or some US official decides. Occupation is violence. Apartheid is violence. Israel's humanity isn't ever in question in the West. Palestinians' humanity is always always conditional, in a moving the goalpost sort of way, on Israel's peace, security, giving up of some their basic rights, or the feelings of Americans. #FreePalestine

I agree with you that we don't want people to die. No one does. But to connect Ukraine and Trump and Netanyahu and posit that a more moderate force in government is needed is completely off base. Israel was founded on terrorism, the Nakba and excluding Palestinians. No Israeli leader ever came close to wanting equality for everyone - on the contrary, they considered that an "existential threat." This isn't a case of lack of balance or bad apples. That whole barrel is rotten. #FreePalestine

Palestinians' mere existence & procreation is called a demographic threat. Maybe a moderate wouldn't call Palestinians human animals, but we don't need a more moderate force administering ethnic cleansing, occupation, apartheid, the continued "mowing the grass" (per Israeli govt) type bombings, dispossession by illegal & state sponsored settlers, we need an end to US funding Israel, end to occupation, & dismantling of its apartheid system. #FreePalestine

All the lessons white people learned about black liberation, they've completely forgotten and are going full on anti-Palestinian. (Please wait before you object to the characterization -- I'm only saying how it sounds and feels to someone with Palestinian family!) Much like in police murders of black people, if you say you don't want to take a side, or all lives matter, you've sided with white supremacy. #FreePalestine

If violence breaks out at a protest and that "makes" you side with the police, you've still sided with white supremacy. Same for occupation - if you don't oppose it, but want both sides to stop bombing, it looks very much like support for that daily violence against oppressed people. #FreePalestine

You invoke Ukraine and the Holocaust and your own children when you talked about Israeli death and your Hamas anger, but i am confused as to why those two instances of oppression make you sympathize with Israeli occupiers more than the Palestinian oppressed. #FreePalestine

You were very careful and specific in saying who was a victim - only some Gazan civilians, as though all Palestinians aren't experiencing daily violence of dispossession, occupation and apartheid in addition to bombs - and their relatives in the diaspora aren't suffering. #FreePalestine

You cast all Israelis and Jews as the legitimate victims (no designation of civilian non-settlers only, just all Israeli Jews) deserving of care and sympathy with invoking the Holocaust. All this with no acknowledgement of continuing ethnic cleansing and Netanyahu telling them to leave the closed bordered prison being like the Nakba but worse - extermination. #FreePalestine

It's funny how Hamas war crimes delegitimize the entire fight for freedom (even though lawmakers get arrested and peaceful protest gets the same response as bombs - there is no nonviolent option left) for some of you but Israeli war crimes are an oopsie or justified "response" that kind of gets swept under the rug in the tears and support.
