I first read my then friend's/now spouse's copy filled with stickies and notes in the margins as she researched every footnote. I was inspired to buy a fresh copy and reread it after playing the remarkable #DOOM2 mod myhouse.wad. Won't go into how it's connected for spoilery reasons, but it was a wild ride. I recommend that fans of HoL should play it or read about it.
