The article is fine, tbh, it’s just talking about how Harris is putting less emphasis on the historic nature of her candidacy versus Clinton in 2016. The headline was hot garbage though, just trying to bait those rage-clicks (which obviously worked).
so that people know where Politico stands in terms of being a trustworthy source
I just assume all media actually want a Trump victory, because they get money writing articles and the money was good his first term. If Trump is good at anything, it’s making headlines.
Acting like there’s any legitimate questions about Harris being a black person is inherently racist and doing the bidding of Trump. I didn’t think very highly of Politico before this but unless they fire whoever wrote that headline they are dead to me now.
He expected an AD password change to stop them and evoke a ransom? And he did all the crap from a VM on his own computer?
Sounds like he has the planning capabilities of a preteen. I wonder if someone else in his house or family got a hold of his credentials and pulled this off…
So instead of acting on scant evidence why don’t we just do a real f****** study.
Kids have grown up eating yellow mac and cheese. They’re going to want to continue to eat yellow mac and cheese and when you bring them out gray mac and cheese a lot of them are going to refuse to eat it. I’m not saying that yellow mac and cheese is worth harming the kids, but before we throw every child out there who already doesn’t want to eat into a tizzy maybe we should actually know what’s really at play
There are studies. I even put them in the description. (It’s just that there hasn’t been wide and national studies yet, which is a fair point I guess.)
The fertilizer made from sewage makes me so angry. Sure it could probably be done safely. But who is overseeing it on a constant basis everywhere? No one. In the meantime sewage treatment plants can literally sell people back their own shit laced with drugs and chemicals and whatever else people dump and flush.
Using pesticides and chemicals is not healthy and not sustainable. The government should subsidize sustainable pest control instead of all the corn subsidies.
I really hate when lawmakers base policy on shaky evidence.
I do think that some children could benefit from dye-free diets; but not all. Make it a matter of school policy that is defined every 3 to 6 months by asking the parents to lend their voices/ballot on the matter; outline the potential “pros and cons” directly on the ballot and let the parents decide each cycle if they want school lunches to go dye-free. Additionally you could poll the children regularly to monitor for dislike of food as well as have lunch monitors just take notes on how much food is eaten.
Then sit back and watch as some schools try it out and some don’t; and you’ll have the ability to gather solid empirical data on if these are indeed problematic for children.
In this specific situation, there’s nearly no harm done unless you work at a food coloring factory. One could argue that this was a preventative measure.
Passing the bill also gathers that empirical data by comparing against other states.
